Nataly Taryn Pluta, PT, YT, MBA, Founder


Owner and Founder
Graduate of Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences in Chicago in 1983 and MBA from DePaul University 1990. She has extensive training and experience in yoga therapy,  Feldenkrais,  rolfing, myofascial release, ortho and neuro-rehabilitation. She is a member and presenter for the International Association of Yoga Therapists and the American Physical Therapy Association. She is the former Rehabilitation Director for Scripps Memorial Hospital and Vice-President of Rehabilitation Services for Resource Rehabilitation Services. Her innovative approach called the PLUTA MOVEMENT METHOD™ has assisted patients of all ages recover from pain, injury and infertility. She also developed the "Seat of the Soul" fertility program of PLUTA MOVEMENT. Ms. Pluta has been featured in several books, journals, international newsletters and the San Diego Business Journal regarding alternative and complementary approaches to pain and infertility.

Recreational activities include: golf, running, yoga, dance, camping, hiking, and jewelry making.

Melinda Wendling Johnson, MSPT

Since receiving a Master’s degree in physical therapy from Boston University in 1991, Melinda has worked in rehabilitation medicine in a wide variety of settings, both in Boston and San Diego. She holds a bachelor’s degree in physiology and psychology from UC Davis.

Melinda is also currently adjunct faculty at the University of St. Augustine in San Marcos, CA. In addition, she will complete her doctorate of physical therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in 2014.

Melinda’s expertise is in manual therapy, with more than 20 years experience in orthopedic and sports medicine. She treats patients of all ages, pediatric through geriatric, and has treated recreational, competitive and professional athletes.

A native of California, Melinda’s interests include soccer, yoga, bicycle racing, surfing and gardening.


Kate McEntire, BA, MT, PT Tech

Kate is a professionally trained bodyworker with over 12 years of experience. She combines technique and intuition to create a customized massage session for you. Kate has a Bachelors Degree in Child Development and a Sports Therapy Diploma from the Natural Healing Institute. She has further developed her skills working as a Physical Therapy Technician for Pluta Movement Therapeutics since 2008. Her warm hands will help release tension and relax muscles to assist your body’s natural healing processes.
